And yet the best way to migrate critical business data and metadata to the cloud remains an unknown for many enterprises.
Despite the increased awareness of the strategic value of cloud migration in recent years, many companies are still adopting “counterintuitive” and unnecessarily expensive approaches. Businesses typically tend to think like this: “I’m just going to move new information to the cloud and not worry about current data residing on-premises” or “I’ll think about governance and security later.” Badly. However, these new concerns don’t need to limit your migration to the cloud.
